Compare carrier dimensions, pet measurements and the requirements of your destination or transportation provider.
Record the carrier’s external dimensions and your pet’s measurements. A weight limit alone is not enough to choose a comfortable carrier. Read the manufacturer’s instructions for how the carrier should be used and how your pet should fit inside it.
For airline travel, check the airline’s current requirements for your exact itinerary before buying. A product advertised as airline approved does not guarantee acceptance on every flight. For car travel, evaluate gear specifically intended for that use and follow its installation instructions.
Pack familiar care instructions, food details and contact information separately from the shopping list. Compare cleaning access, ventilation, closures and replacement parts. Delivery estimates matter when the trip is close, so confirm the date shown at checkout before completing the order.
